TARGET is the only tool federating hybridization of the following highest-level technologies:

  • GNSS signal processing (Emission and reception modeling)
  • 3D virtual mock-ups of any outdoor environment
  • Electromagnetic propagation modeling (Ray Tracing algorithms, Geometrical and Optical Physics)

TARGET is a stand-alone GNSS simulation tool aiming at modeling the emission and the reception of any radio-navigation signal as well as its propagation in deterministic urban environment.

It helps you to test the robustness of your receiver or of your application with a simulation tool offering 2 unique characteristics:

  • Fidelity to real world
  • Repeatability

TARGET output can be either used by software analysis tool or replayed in R/F using a dedicated HW (SILICOMs’ RTG2 product)

Without TARGET, the only solution to evaluate the improvement of a receiver design is to rely on statistical models (no realism, apart from the C/N0 point of view), or to test and test again the receiver by walking on the streets of big cities (realistic, but not repeatable at all, and very time consuming).
