Direction Finding System

DFS is a system able to compute the direction of arrival and distance of any signal in a given frequency band
DFS is designed to cover all VHF/UHF Bands (DFS-HF Version), GNSS Bands (DFS-GNSS Version) or S Band (DFS-S)
For that purpose, it includes a very powerful dual channel acquisition stage in order to be able to compute phase difference in real time.
DFS is delivered with a backpack, 2 calibrated antennas (in option) and a mobile terminal allowing distance control and display.

The Direction-Finder System allows recording and time-tagging of the direction of arrival of any signal which is inside a selected subset of the frequency band.
The system includes an electronic compass, so that the direction of arrival may be displayed in absolute referential (to the magnetic north).
DFS also includes a L1C/A GPS receiver in order to associate every recorded information to the corresponding longitude and latitude.

- Search Frequency are selected inside the frequency bands of the hardware by the user
- Distance evaluation (static mode): if the user enters the estimated emission power of the corresponding emitter, the distance is evaluated and the location of the corresponding emitter can be shown on a map
