DFS Product

June 2011:

SILICOM announces the launch of its new product: DFS (Direction Finding System).

DFS is a system able to compute the direction of arrival and distance of any signal in a given frequency band

DFS is designed to cover all  VHF/UHF Bands (DFS-HF Version), GNSS Bands (DFS-GNSS Version) or S Band (DFS-S)

For that purpose, it includes a very powerful dual channel acquisition stage in order to be able to compute phase difference in real time.

DFS is delivered with a backpack, 2 calibrated antennas (in option) and a mobile terminal allowing distance control and display.

First RTG2 Release

Spring 2011:

Announcement: RTG2 First Release

RTG2 is a GNSS signal Generator which simulates realistic GNSS RF signals taking into account the current and future GNSS Constellations.

RTG2 is able to entirely simulate one or many constellations (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS or Compass) including satellite based augmentation systems such as WAAS/EGNOS.

The generator is entirely configurable (troposphere and ionosphere effects, simulated receiver trajectory, etc) through a user friendly interface accessible through a web browser.

RTG2 is highly flexible and scalable, offering hardware and software upgrades for capability extensions.
